Shalom Zambia
Zambia is a nation of orphans and widows who desperately need our help. Life expectancy in this south central African country is only 39 years due to a severe lack of food, clean drinking water, and the highest per capita incidence of the HIV/Aids virus in the world. At the invitation of President Mwanawasa we assembled a team of 100 volunteers with food, medicine, doctors, dentists, clothing, Bibles and worship, hoping to make a difference. We did! With over one million meals, $250,000 in medical aid, 50,000 Bibles, and more, we became the hands and feet of Jesus to a people living on the edge of destruction.
